Georgian walnut dining room urns

Late 18th / early 19th century, each with a flambeau finial atop a removable domed cover over a spiral-fluted and gadrooned vasiform body lined with zinc, on a square plinth fitted with a tap, above a pedestal; the pedestal of the first with a single hinged door with three paneled false drawer fronts opening to a zinc-lined cupboard fitted with two slatted wooden shelves, over a square base enclosing a sliding drawer fitted with a holder for a burner; the pedestal of the second with a drawer over a hinged door enclosing a cupboard above a further drawer incorporating the square base and opening to reveal a zinc-lined compartment divided into six wells; 2 pcs, each 61” H x 17.5” W x 17” D, est: $2500/3500 21,600 (Photo courtesy John Moran Auctioneers)
