For nearly 30 years, Scott Antique Markets has been America’s Favorite Treasure Hunt for antiques and collectibles! Scott hosts the World’s Largest Indoor Antique Shows the second weekend of every month at the Atlanta Exposition Center in Atlanta (starting April 10-12), and three times a year (March, November and December) at the Ohio Expo Center in Columbus, Ohio.
There’s no better way to celebrate the renewal of spring than a trip to the Scott Antique Markets. As the largest monthly antique market in the world, Scott Markets are a complete assortment of antique goods that is truly a treasure hunter’s paradise.
A Main Street community since 1996, Freemont, Calif. treats this distinction with special care, cultivating events and opportunities that supports and reflects the Main Street mindset.
Coming in August, the Niles Historic District will be the site of the 50th Annual Antique Faire & Flea Market. Slated for Aug. 31, the event will feature several vendors.
With nearly 20 antiques and collectibles businesses operating in the community, according to the Niles Main Street Association website (www.niles.org), the organization boasts a wide variety of antiques and collectibles for every interest and income. There is still time (until July 31) for vendors to apply for a booth at the Faire & Flea Market. Instructions and the application can be found at www.niles.org.
If you’re in the area of Fremont, Calif on July 19, you may want to consider swinging by for the Niles Dog Show, sponsored by the Pooch Pow-Wow Committee and the Niles Main Street Association
Travel & Leisure magazine calls it one of “the top 3 of national urban antiques markets,” while others call it the “SoHo of the Midwest,” but, to those who frequent it, the Chicago Antiques Market is a simply a great place to find superb antiques and collectibles for amazing prices.
Part of the famed Randolph Street Market, the Chicago Antiques Market features 200 vendors with a wide variety of wares, in a European-style indoor and outdoor marketplace. The market is open one weekend a month through December, and tickets are $8 for adults and $3 for students in advance online, and $10 and $5, respectively at the gate. The Land of Lincoln is home to the Granddaddy of them all, the Indy Antique Advertising Show. Held twice a year, in March and September, this popular show draws more than 100 dealers from across the U.S., and features antique toys, breweriana, country store collectibles, petroliana, coin operated machines, ephemera, Americana and more advertising-related items.
Preview tickets for the September 26-27, 2014 show are available for $25 until September 5.
Three times a year Country Living Magazine and Marketplace hosts Country Living Fairs, providing a place where classic vintage treasures and trinkets display beside modern elements, offering classic and contemporary design and flair for your home and self.
This year’s fairs are scheduled for: June 6-8, 2014 in Rhinebeck, N.Y., Sept. 12-14, 2014 in Columbus, Ohio and Oct. 24-26 in Atlanta.

For 34 years, Christine Palmer & Associates has had the distinction of offering the largest venue for collectibles and antiques on the left coast. With shows in the Puget Sound and Portland, the summer show (July 12-13) at the Portland Expo Center, is the largest of the shows with 1,400 booths both inside and out. This show only comes once a year and offers unique vintage items from 20 states.
Anything from the 1870s to the 1970s can be found and runs the gamut from vintage clothing, paintings, great old toys, decorative items such as period lighting, industrial, arts & crafts, American oak, plus slot machines, gambling items, Barbie, estate jewelry, rare books, Star Trek, Pez, costume jewelry, garden items, advertising, ephemera, vintage tools, prints and bits and pieces of good old things. The autumn show is set for October 25 & 26.
If you’ve ever been to camp, you know you most always come away learning something new. At the Antique Jewelry & Art Conference’s Jewelry Camp, slated for July 31 – Aug. 1, organizers say it’s not whether you’ll come away with new knowledge about jewelry, but more about how soon you can put all your new jewelry knowledge to good use.
Ten times a year, the Midwest’s best dealers and flea market masters make it a point to set up at the Kane County Flea Market in St. Charles, Ill. Mark your calendars for the next couple market dates April 5-6.

From May to October, 3rd Sunday Market welcomes thousands of collectors and dealers to this favorite Midwestern antiquing destination, for the opportunity to find the finest in antiques, collectibles and crafts. A Bloomington, Ill., tradition since 1988, the indoor/outdoor sale features more than 450 top dealers, representing 17 states. This year’s market begins May 8, with show hours from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Gurnee Antique Center is committed to providing exceptional service to customers by bringing them top quality, authentic 18th, 19th and early 20th century antiques. Staff and external appraisers review merchandise and actively remove items that are not at least 50 years old.
The GAC staff also actively searches for and removes fakes and reproductions: items that could mislead the uninformed buyer. Dealers are asked to remove items of questionable authenticity or quality, establishing an atmosphere of quality and trust at the Gurnee Antique Center.

You’ve never seen anything like the antique malls and collectibles shops located in Volo, Ill. This is more than your average antiques mall – it’s a 30-acre theme park designed for the entire family! Collectors will love strolling down “seven miles of aisles” spread across three, massive antique malls and a fourth devoted to unique finds and collectable decor. Plus, the group at Volo is planning a Mother’s Day special event May 10-11, 2014.
Families may tour a 300-vehicle auto museum, take a ride on a Historic Trolley Tour or visit the Haunted Barn, as seen on The Discovery Channel’s “Ghost Lab.” (see the video clip below).
Plan your antiques shopping ahead of time! Collectors can now take an online tour of our participating antiques booths. Simply visit the Antique Mall page or the Mercantile Mall page and click on the suggested collecting categories. Then simply visit the booth number and participating dealer’s name to view merchandise information and photos.
As the largest outdoor market of its kind in Southeastern Michigan, the two-day Utica Antiques Market occurs the following weekends in 2014: May 10-11, July 12-13, and September 6-7. The show is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. More than 100 dealers display rare antiques and fine collectibles in a massive pavilion or under 20-by-40-foot canopies. About 20 canopies are set up sheltering anywhere from 2 to 6 dealers.
The team at Lang’s of Bouckville, N.Y. is gearing up for the Madison-Bouckville Antique Week, and they’ll kick things off with the Antique & Collectible Fishing & Hunting Show on Aug. 8-9. The event will feature rods, reels, lures, calls, minnow traps, fly tying materials, gun accessories, saltwater tackle, fish decoys, catalogs, carvings, canoes/boats, among other things.
The show, which will be held at the Cider House Showfield, Rt. 20, Bouckville, N.Y., will run in tandem with Lang’s Discovery Auction.
The Washington Antiques Fair is ushering in its 36th spring season in fine style, with rows upon rows of dealers displaying antiques of varying genres – promising a little something for everyone. The next fair date is April 27, May 25, June 29 and will be held in the traditional fair spot, Consol Energy Park, in Washington, Pa.
Sunday at Sandwich Antiques Show: Bringing fresh appeal to antiques shows
This marks the second year of Sundays at Sandwich Antiques Show, produced by Blue Antique Productions in Sandwich, Ill. At the suggestion of a mutual friend, three couples with years of experience in the antiques market and show management, teamed up to bring fresh perspective, new appeal and renewed excitement about antiques through Sundays at Sandwich.
The 2014 schedule is as follows: June 8, July 13, August 10 and October 12.
Puchstein Promotions: Meeting collectors needs for four decades
