You don’t have to wait for the Brimfield antique show or the next episode of Antiques Roadshow to get your antiquing fix! This is your guide to the great American flea market: From New York to Texas, Oregon to Florida, our Summer Antique Show Spotlight tells you all about the most important American antiques shows and antique fairs of summer 2014. Delivered free the last Thursday of every month.
Nestled in the lush green of east-central Ohio is the charming and picturesque Historic Zoar Villiage. Founded in 1817 by a group of about 200 German Separatists, this unique village is now home to about 75 families, and the site of various festivals, community and history events all year long.
One of the biggest and most popular events is the Zoar Harvest Festival & Antique Show, which draws more than 60 antiques dealers and crafters, and features a juried craft show and art show.
From May to October, thousands of Midwestern collectors clear their 2013 antiques show calendars to shop the 3rd Sunday Market, an event devoted exclusively to the finest in antiques, collectibles, and crafts. A Bloomington, Ill., tradition since 1988, the indoor/outdoor sale features more than 450 top dealers, representing 17 states. This year’s market wraps up for the season Oct. 20, with show hours from 8 a.m.-4 p.m.

The Land of Lincoln is home to one of America’s biggest antique advertising shows, and during the September 27-28 show, the Indy Antique Advertising Show will welcome a new feature, vintage road maps, courtesy of a partnership with the Road Map Collectors Association. The Washington Antiques Fair is ushering in its 35th spring season in fine style, with rows upon rows of dealers displaying antiques of varying genres – promising a little something for everyone. The next fair date is Sept. 29, and will be held in the traditional fair spot, Consol Energy Park, in Washington, Pa.

Sandwich Antiques Market: Perfect for Sundays in summer
The Sandwich Antiques Market, nestled in the picturesque Sandwich Fair Grounds, boarded by stunning 100-year old trees, with ample space to rest and relax between visits to dealer booths,is an unbeatable option for collectors of any age and interest.
It will be a one-stop shop for collectors of antiques Oct. 4-5 during the Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association Fall Show.
The show, which includes 58 dealers from seven different Midwestern states, will be held in the Waukesha Expo Center Forum Building, 1000 Northview Rd., Waukesha, Wis. This marks the 62nd year of the W.A.D.A fall show — which is well known for the authenticity, condition and rarity of the antiques displayed, and the level of expertise and professionalism of the exhibitors.
The Wisconsin Antiques Dealers Association, formed in 1948, is the oldest, continually-functioning state antiques organization in the United States.
The W.A.D.A Fall Show hours are Friday 11 a.m.-9 p.m. and Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. In addition to the usual food concessions, there will be a fish fry on Friday. Admission to the show is $6, which funds scholarships for high school students, as well as grants to Wisconsin historic and heritage groups.

Crying Hills Antiques: Part education and part adventure
It’s always good when you can get more for your money, and when it comes to antiques events in North Dakota, the Crying Hills Antiques Show, you definitely get “more” for your $2 admission fee. Whether you make your way to the Fargo show or the Bismarck location, you’ll find a variety of dealers displaying pottery, jewelry, Western, Americana, Depression glass, and postcards, and many always willing to talk antiques. The final show of 2013 is Oct. 1-2 at the 4-H Building on the Burleigh County Fair grounds (just south of Buckstop Junction), Bismarck.
Plan ahead: Crying Hill will host its next antique show April 14-15, 2014.
The Gurnee Antique Center is committed to providing exceptional service to customers by bringing them top quality, authentic 18th, 19th and early 20th century antiques. Staff and external appraisers review merchandise and actively remove items that are not at least 50 years old.

Barn Star Productions is gearing up for the Wilton Fall Antiques Market, which will be held Sunday, Oct. 27, 2013 from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.
The event, which benefits the Wilton Historical Society, is featuring more than 100 exhibitors at the Wilton High School Field House, 395 Danbury Rd (Route 7), Wilton, CT 06897.
As the largest outdoor market of its kind in Southeastern Michigan, the two-day Utica Antiques Market occurs the following weekends in 2014: May 10-11, July 12-13, and September 6-7. The show is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sundays. More than 100 dealers display rare antiques and fine collectibles in a massive pavilion or under 20-by-40-foot canopies. About 20 canopies are set up sheltering anywhere from 2 to 6 dealers.
