Antiques trade mourns Barry Weber – 15-year Antiques Roadshow veteran

barry_weber.jpgThe antiques trade this week is mourning the passing of Barry Weber, president of Edith Weber Antique Jewelry at New York’s Carlyle Hotel. Weber generously served as an appraiser on Antiques Roadshow for 15 seasons.

Barry H.Weber, 59, adoring husband, best friend, incredible father and loving son died Oct. 19 after fighting bladder cancer. He moved to Long Beach, N.Y. in 1976 with Sonja and they were married at Temple Emanu-el in 1979. Also in 1979, he became President of Edith Weber Antique Jewelry at The Carlyle Hotel. He appeared on the Antiques Roadshow for 15 seasons as a jewelry appraiser.
