Greater Charlotte Show sells to Lydia Sullivan

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Promoter Lydia Sullivan announced she has purchased the Greater Charlotte Antiques and Collectibles Show from The Art Fair Company, who acquired the show earlier this year from dmg world media.

As the Show Director for the last eight years under dmg, and also the more recent owners, she has the closest knowledge of its operations, dealers and customer base. Earlier this year the show was moved from the old dirt race track northwest of Charlotte to the Cabarrus Arena and for that reason Sullivan is changing the name to Cabarrus Antiques and Designer Showcase.

“We are building such a great show at the Cabarrus Arena,” says Sullivan, adding “We are getting tremendous support from exhibitors, shoppers and the Cabarrus Arena staff and management.”

The next show will be held Jan. 15-17, 2010, with additional shows March 19-21; June 4-6; Aug. 27-29 and Oct. 29-31. The Cabarrus Arena is located off exit 60 of Interstate 85 in Concord, N.C.

For more information, see their Web site at www.charlotteantiqueshow.com or call 704-596-4643. The Web address will be changing to the new name but expect them to link together.
