MULLICA HILL, N.J. – Quimper specialist and author of the book “Collecting Quimper” Joan Datesman has now joined The Yellow Garage Antiques in Mullica Hill, N.J.
Datesman, who trades under the name of Merry Walk Antiques, hails out of Annapolis, Md. A veteran show dealer and expert on 19th and 20th century Quimper, Ms. Datesman spends summers in France to buy and add to her knowledge of these popular ceramics. In addition to an extensive inventory of Quimper, she has brought other French folk art items to the New Jersey venue, including 19th century painted boxes and clock faces, as well as garden accessories and high quality copper molds and cookware.
The Yellow Garage Antiques is a 6,500 square foot, 35 dealer marketplace located just off Exit 2 of the New Jersey Turnpike in the Historic Village of Mullica Hill. The shop is in its 13th year and has established itself as on of the premier shops in the Tri-State area. It is opened Wednesday through Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. year round.
