VOLO, Ill. – The malls at Volo Country Village are sponsoring a raffle for Breast Cancer Network of Strength(TM) Illinois, an organization that focuses on making sure that no one faces breast cancer alone.

Network of Strength provides emotional relief to anyone affected by breast cancer through peer support, empowerment and knowledge.

The Antique Malls are raffling two items: a circa 1880 mahogany Empire sideboard with claw feet, three drawers and  three locking compartments on the bottom; measuring 60 1/2 inches long, 23 1/2 inches deep, and 41 inches high, and valued at $500; and a late 1920s Weller Breton vase valued at $165.

The Mercantile Mall is raffling two new items: a half-round cherry curio cabinet valued at $449 and a new Tiffany-style iris lamp valued at $100.
Entries are only $1 each for each item and people can enter as often as they would like. The drawing will be held Sept. 6 at 2 p.m. Official rules are at cashier counters of Antique Mall 2 and the Mercantile Mall. Volo Malls have generously agreed to donate ALL proceeds (including the cost of the items) to Breast Cancer Network of Strength(TM) Illinois.

The prizes can be seen in person at the malls or online at www.voloshopping.com. Volo Country Village is located on Volo Village Road, near the junctions of routes 12/59 and 120. The site also houses the Volo Auto and Military Museums.
