An appraisal fair will be held in Akron, Ohio, Sat., May 3, 2008. Proceeds will benefit the Akron Akron Children’s Hospital’s CARE (Children at Risk Evaluation) Center.
The event will be held at the Considine Professional Building, 215 W. Bowery St., Akron, Ohio. Hours of the event are 9am-2pm.
The cost of appraisals is a $5 donation per item for a verbal, professional appraisal.
Suggested appraisal items: airships, Akron memorabilia, advertising, art, books, ceramics, fabric, furniture, lace, linens, glassware, jewelry, maps, money, paper, post cards, pottery, sports memorabilia, and toys.
Large items may be brought to the main entrance before parking. Weapons will not be appraised at this event.
Appraisers include: Lew Bromer, Dean Fygetakes, Evie Kidder, Frank Klein, Elaine Luck, Karen Pfaller, Jack Richards, Colleen Semonin, John Semonin, and Maggie Walker.
Although every effort will be made to provide accurate information, appraisals given at this event are not legally binding.
Other event features are a door prize, entertainment, food, free parking and raffles.
