250,000 postcards worth $500K crossing the block March 16

CLARENCE, N.Y. — Schultz Auctioneers will be auctioning off a 50-year collection of more than 250,000 quality and rare postcards on March 16, 2013.

This collection is from a Buffalo, N.Y., collector of ephemera. The postcards will be sold mostly in groups and albums. There are more than 100 subjects, including: holiday, centennials and expositions, novelties, military, sports, transportation, all U.S. states (including a major collection of N.Y. State), women, Blacks, movie stars, advertising, political and much more.

This entire collection carries an estimated value of more than a half-million dollars.
