EXPO 2012, the three-day antique bottle show and convention kicked off July 27, 2012 in Reno, Nev. with a crowd of 600 dealers and 160 “early bird” attendees. A rare and early double eagle historical flask made in Pittsburgh circa 1820-40 sold for $53,820 in an antique bottle auction. he exceptional and beautiful pint flask, in the great GII-1 mold with crisp embossing, had a sheared mouth and pontil scar.
