The 2009 Pineapple Antique Show & Sale will celebrate its 33rd year in a new location: Sarasota Municipal Auditorium, located at 801 N. Tamiami Trail. Proceeds from this show will benefit charities in Sarasota and Manatee counties.
Show dates are Tuesday, March 17, 2009 (Evening Preview Party & Sale), and Wednesday and Thursday, March 18-19, 2009. It is presented by the United Methodist Women of historic First United Methodist Church in Sarasota, Sarasota’s first church.
Forty quality antique dealers are represented at the Pineapple Show, featuring American & English antiques, fine art, fine jewelry, china, collectibles, crystal, elegant glassware, linens, porcelain, pottery, primitives, toys and more.
The Pineapple Gallery Boutique features antiques, collectibles, artwork, costume jewelry, crafts, and gifts. The Pantry & Market sells fabulous homemade cakes, pies, cookies, fudge, breads, jams and jellies. A silent auction and door prizes, will offer something new and different each day. Orchids, ferns and books will also be sold.
Nearly $300,000 has been donated to Sarasota and Manatee charities since the show’s inception.
