SAVANNAH, Ga. – The 10th annual Skidaway Island Antiques Show & Sale, hosted by St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, takes place in this town from Feb. 29 to March 2.
Seventeen nationally known dealers from around the nation will exhibit their collections in room settings. Offerings will include Asian, English and American furniture and accessories; jewelry; linens; oriental rugs; silver; garden accessories; medieval manuscripts of Christianity, Judiasm, and Islam; and much more.
Guests can attend free lectures and get professional opinions of value of their own antiques.
A champagne preview party will be held on Thursday evening, February 28.
The show is held in the Parish Hall of St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, in the Village on Skidaway Island at 3 West Ridge Road.
Hours are from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday Feb. 29, and Saturday, March 1. On Sunday, March 2, show hours are 11:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Admission is $8.
Since its inception in 1999, the net proceeds of the show, totaling $479,000, have been donated to charities serving Savannah’s children.
