The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair, one of the premier antiques shows in the country, returns to Chicago’s Merchandise Mart for its 12th year, May 1-4. Experienced and novice collectors alike will have the opportunity to shop this anthology of works that range from rare antiquities to modern design, in a variety of price points.
More than 100 top national and international antiques and fine art dealers are exhibiting in The Fair and will showcase the finest in 20th century design, Americana, architectural design, Asian art and antiquities, barometers, books, ceramics, clocks, decorative arts, folk art, furniture, glass, jewelry, paintings, posters, prints, maps, sculpture, silver, textiles and tribal art.

In addition, the Antiques Fair hosts a variety of special events, including a preview night party, a presentation from a top-name keynote speaker, seminars, dealer booth talks, and VIP events.
Preview Night: The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair will benefit the Women’s Board of the Rehabilitation Institute of Chicago (RIC). Guests will have the first opportunity to purchase offerings from dealers, while enjoying cocktails, hors d’oeuvres and live music.

The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair will once again be an exciting component of Artropolis, a world-class, city-wide celebration art, antiques and culture with Art Chicago at its centerpiece. The multiple shows under the Artropolis umbrella enable attendees to enjoy a diverse selection of art, prints, sculpture and other three dimensional forms from antiquities to contemporary art.
Artropolis is Chicago’s celebration of everything art. It offers an international art exhibition, world-class antiques fair, satellite art shows, educational programs, guided tours, music, theater and dance performances are planned at a variety of venues: from major museums to small galleries, from world-class concert halls to cutting-edge clubs, from exclusive tours to private parties. Artropolis features three separate shows that will be co-located at The Merchandise Mart – Art Chicago, The Merchandise Mart International Antiques Fair and NEXT.
Antiques Fair hours will be Friday and Saturday, May 1-2, 11 a.m.-7 p.m., Sunday, May 3, 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Monday, May 4, 11 a.m.-3 p.m.
