Question of the Week: Brimfield anyone?

This week, Antique Trader would like to know:

“Did you attend the antique shows in Brimfield during the middle of May? What were your impressions of the state of the market there?”

Would you like to share your experiences at Brimfield – either buying or selling? We’d love to hear from you!

Post a reply here on the blog, in the Antique Trader message boards, or you can e-mail us your comments at sandra.sparks@fwmedia.com or mail comments to Antique Trader Inbox, 700 E State St, Iola, WI 54945.

  1. Despite a few days of downright damp, chilly weather, the traffic was pretty good. Lots of serious shoppers during the week but the traffic on Saturday consisted mainly of folks wanting to browse in the sunny weather. Prices on furniture and pottery were definitely lower than in recent years. I did my small part and picked up a gold and jade cross for my daughters first communion and a beautiful chine bread plate that the artist turned into a mirror. My family also got some great finds including a beautiful shelf made from ornate antique table leg, dresser and buffet.
