ROUND TOP, Texas – At 43 years young and still among the most popular venues in this tiny town, American Antiques at Rifle Hall is hosting 40 dealers March 25-30 in two slightly different shows.
Rifle Hall is a Texas dance hall and club house which has been serving local needs for gatherings, shows and more for several generations. As part of a resurgence this year, the show’s dates have been altered to be the weekend prior to many of the Round Top Antiques Week events to create The Week End Show, March 25- 27.
Ralph Willard, himself a veteran of all but one of the Rifle Hall shows and now the owner/manager of this twice yearly event, has done some tweaking of the show’s dates to allow the visitors more opportunity to visit and hopefully purchase from the great collections of early American antiques and home furnishings, fine art and even folk art.
The Week End Show will feature dealers with first offerings from across the country. In addition for this spring Willard will have The Week Day Show March 28-30 with some of the weekend dealers but also a number of others arriving for this later event with more fresh antiques. One admission price of $5 is good for both shows, or $15 for the Friday evening party from 5-8 which includes refreshments.
American Antiques at Rifle Hall – two shows in one – is accessible from Route 237 just a quarter mile north of the tiny village of Round Top, enter at the large sign, on the east side of the road or about 6 miles south of Route 290.
