PHILADELPHIA – Thimble Collectors International returns to Philadelphia for its 16th Biennial TCI Convention. The Sheraton Society Hill Hotel in downtown Philly will host the convention, Aug. 29-Sept. 1.
Started in 1978 in Northbrook, Ill., TCI has conducted conventions in even-numbered years for 30 years, hosted by regional groups and alternating throughout the country.
TCI, a non-profit organization, is the premier group for collectors of thimbles and other needlework tools. Through its quarterly bulletins, biennial conventions, published booklets and network of regional groups, TCI promotes research and camaraderie.
There will be expert lectures, a huge sales mall, a beginner’s seminar and an auction. Activities encompass all needlework tools. Join TCI now and receive needlework tools and the upcoming convention material.
