Brinley circus memorabilia leads Nest Egg Feb. 16 sale

MERIDON, Conn. – Nest Egg Auctions has been retained to sell the legendary circus memorabilia of nationally noted, lifelong collector William Brinley. For circus collectors, this is truly a once in a lifetime sale.

Brinley started displaying his collection at 9 years of age and has spent more than 80 years building it. Cataloging this vast collection has been a monumental task and more than 500 lots have been prepared, to date, containing thousands of circus related posters, documents, photographs, and programs.

From Ringling Bros Barnum Bailey to little known regional shows, the depth of the collection is amazing. Of particular interest to collectors will be the Kelty photographs from the 1930s, as well as circus fire and train wreck photos.
