Carol Watson’s Orange Coast Auctions, Inc., is now open in Irvine, Calif., the latest player in the United States’ growing vintage and antique firearms auction market.
Gun Digest 2011 The World’s Greatest Gun Book, 65th Edition

With more than 35 years in the auction field, the firm’s goal is to provide a complete range of services, from online and live auctions sale, to appraising, purchasing, and the consignment of single items and large estates. Its first sale is an online auction closing July 18.
The July auction is a prelude to the firm’s Sept. 3 Premiere Firearms Auction, featuring the Walt Hallstein Collection of Fine Winchester rifles, Colt revolvers, Collector ammunitions, sights, knives and related items. The sale also features antique and modern military firearms and accoutrements. The auction will be held live on site. Consignments are still being accepted.
The Sept. 3 Premiere Firearms Auction begins at 10 a.m. at the firm’s headquarters, 16600 Aston St.,
Irvine, Calif. Showroom hours are Monday through Saturday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. While you’re there make sure to take time to visit the award-winning early Colt .38 auto pistol variation display featuring more than 40 examples and sub-types, more than 50 vintage boxes of ammunition, many period holsters and accoutrements.
