Western ephemera, postcard and photograph sale planned by Nevada’s Holabird-Kagin


RENO, Nev. — Holabird-Kagin Americana is hosting a grand-scale, world-class auction at the Atlantis Casino Resort Oct 29-30, 2010, featuring a spectacular offering of rare photographs, Nevada postcards and Western American ephemera.

More than 2,000 lots from the famous Al Mueller Western Photograph Collection, the Gil Schmidtmann Postal History and Nevadiana Collection, the John Woodward Ingot Collection and the Marshall Fey Gaming Collection, along with a fabulous group of Native American items, including Navajo rugs and Washoe baskets, will be a part of this two-day event, which is expected to break records and set a new precedent in the Western Americana collectibles market.
