BURTON, Ohio – Now celebrating its 49th year, the Burton Antiques Market returns to the Geauga County Fairgrounds for the second of this year’s semi-annual shows Sept. 25.
With 400 of America’s leading dealers displaying their finest antiques and old collectibles, “Burton is Back” with something for everyone in every price range.
The show starts off at 8 a.m., Sept. 25, for early buyers wanting to start the treasure hunt and get the first look at the vast array of merchandise being offered. Early Buyers admission is $20.
The show continues Sept. 26 with general admission for $6. Help will be on hand to assist customers purchasing items on the field to take the merchandise to a loading area where some of the local Amish men will help with loading.
“We have had a tremendous response from the both the buyers and the dealers,” said nationally-known show promoter and new owner Kay Puchstein. “The June show saw a dramatic increase in both early buyers and general admission attendance. We already have more dealers signed up for the fall show than were present at the very large first show in June. Dozens of dealers who have not attended the show for years are signing up and coming back. It is going to be a very big show and yes, ‘Burton is Back.’”
Vendors offer silver, fine china, jewelry, porcelains, glassware, textiles, paintings, Americana, garden furniture, decorative accessories, rugs, primitives, old tools, and much, much more will be found. Most dealers will be under tents and many more vendors will be located inside under the grandstand.
