GETTYSBURG, Pa. – Lovers of history and historical souvenirs will find a buyer’s paradise in Lincoln Square during the Gettysburg Outdoor Antique Show, which will be held Saturday, May 18 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The show will include about 125 vendors, selling everything from antique furniture to glassware. There will also be an assortment of jewelry, linens and dolls, along with many other collectibles.
“It’s a wide variety of vendors,” said show organizer John Angstadt, who noted that there is an increase in the number of interested sellers each year.
“As of the middle of March, we had all our spaces currently filled and have a waiting list to participate,” Angstadt said. “We’ve had a tremendous response this year.”
Vendors will fan out from Lincoln Square in downtown Gettysburg along Carlisle, Chambersburg, Baltimore and York streets. The event will be held rain or shine. The proceeds from the semi-annual Gettysburg Outdoor Antique Show benefit the activities of the Gettysburg Area Retail Merchants Association.
Locals and visitors alike should also mark their calendars for the fall Antique Show, which will be held Saturday, Sept. 28.
