Ironstone and pottery were featured by Your Grandma Had It, Brooklyn, N.Y., at Pier Antiques in 2012.

GLM acquired the shows from Stella Show Management Company, according to an announcement released May 20. U.S. Antique Shows, producer of The Original Miami Beach Antique Show, and a division of GLM, will take over management of the two shows.

The sale of the two shows is part of the Stella Show’s reorganization, which is tied to the

retirement of Irene Stella, longtime leader of Stella’s antiques show business.

“Words can’t express the extreme admiration I have always had and still feel for the hard work, knowledge and camaraderie of antiques dealers and the love and appreciation I feel for all their faith in Stella Show events over the past 45 years and the great people, characters and amazing friendships this business brought to my life,” said  Irene Stella, according to Stella Show Management’s announcement.

The Pier Antique Show, one of the largest antiques shows on the East Coast, hosts several hundred exhibitors and thousands of visitors at each of it’s semiannual shows, held in March and November. Antiques at the Armory regularly hosts 100 exhibitors, during New York’s Americana Week each January.

Stella Show Management will continue serving the markets associated with lifestyle improvement, through events including the Country Living Fairs, Chicago Botanic Garden Antiques & Garden Fair, and others.
