Iowa City Noon Kiwanis to have annual antique show

Saturday, March 7 and Sunday, March 8, 2009, are the dates selected for the annual Iowa City Noon Kiwanis Club Antique Show & Sale to be held at the Johnson County Fairgrounds, located just south of Iowa City on Riverside Drive in Building C, located at the Southwest corner of the Fairgrounds.

Hours of the  show are Saturday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday from 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Admission is just $3 and is good for repeat visits both days. 
The show is a major fundraiser for the Kiwanis Club, which supports various charitable endeavors each year.

Approximately 30 quality dealers will be displaying antiques of all categories at the show and sale including but not limited to much antique furniture, stained glass windows, quilts, jewelry, stoneware, advertising items, ephemera, postcards, Hawkeye collectables, sterling and silver, china and glassware, primitives, clocks, textiles, country antiques, and so much more!

Bill Ackerman of Ackerman’s Antiques & Estates Services provides the management of the show working with the Kiwanis Club.
