SAINT PAUL, Minn. – Antiques shows across the U.S. are seeing an increase in attendance and sales as consumers are becoming more comfortable with the U.S. economic outlook.
Antique dealers are reporting pent up consumer demand for quality merchandise has come to a head as collectors of antiques and decorative arts are seeing incredible bargains on investment quality merchandise.
This year the 6th annual Minnesota Antiques Dealers Association Show and Sale, June 5-6, will once again fulfill the needs of antique enthusiasts by offering an exceptional opportunity to purchase fine quality antiques and decorative arts from reputable Minnesota dealers.
The 2010 show, held at the Minnesota State Fairgrounds in its Historic Fine Arts Building, will include over 40 MADA dealers offering merchandise including: antique furniture from period pieces to country, fine art, silver, fine estate and vintage jewelry, glass, pottery, decorative arts, early Americana, Asian, mid-century modern, textiles, Scandinavian country, American Indian, garden relics, and more.
As an added bonus to this year’s show, Master Framers Inc. of St. Paul, will be presenting demonstrations on gold leaf gilding and frame restoration.
The Minnesota Antiques Dealers Association was founded in 1973 to promote understanding and appreciation of antiques.
