Antiquing for a cause: Preventing child abuse

SANTA BARBARA, Calif. — Eighty of the West Coast’s finest dealers of antiques and vintage arts are converging on the Earl Warren Showgrounds May 17-19 for an antiques show with a special cause – raising funds to help prevent child abuse and neglect.

Whether a seasoned antiques veteran or a new collector, there is something for everyone’s interest, such as decorative arts, garden artifacts, vintage accessories, estate jewelry, textiles, linens, glassware, china, porcelain, period furniture and silver, among other categories of antiques.

Show hours are Friday and Saturday 11 a.m.-6 p.m., and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission for the entire weekend is $6 at the door, $5 with an ad and $5 for seniors (62 and older). Children under 12 are admitted for free. Parking is also free
