Bakersfield, Calif., group marks 42nd annual Collectors Showcase

BAKERSFIELD, Calif. — The Glass and China Collectors of Bakersfield are sponsoring the Collectors Showcase antique and collectibles show and sale March 9-10 in the Hodel’s Kern Rooms, located at 5917 Knudsen Drive, Bakersfield, Calif.

This year highlights “Kountry Kitchen Kollectibles,” with the spotlight on olde country kitchens and all the memories this invokes. Three large rooms, holding 39 dealers, will be filled with vintage kitchenware, china, linens, old cook books, crockery, silverware, utensils and more. A foyer display depicting old kitchen memorabilia will greet attendees. Dressed in vintage aprons, club members and dealers will be setting the mood as they welcome show goers.
