James D Julia adds Willis, Callahan to new Massachusetts office

James D. Julia has opened a satellite office at the historic 1790 House of Woburn, Mass. to better serve a growing roster of clients in the greater Massachusetts area and further west. The location will offer consignment and appraisal services and as a drop off point for sales conducted at Julia’s Maine headquarters. On April 14-15, 2012 Norm Schaut’s huge “Antique City” Fun Fair will be staged at the Lehigh University Fieldhouse in Bethlehem, Pa. Pennsylvania’s largest and most diverse indoor antiques fair will present 250 exhibitors from 32 states offering everything from furnishings to fine art, jewelry to jukeboxes, porcelains and postcards to dolls and trains to ships and planes. Vendors say sales remain strong at San Francisco Antiquarian Book, Print & Paper Fair 2012

For 24 years, the San Francisco Antiquarian Book Print and Paper Fair has drawn bibliophiles together to refine their collections. The fair was Feb. 4-5, 2012. The report from Fair exhibitors was positive. Rosemarie Rustico of San Francisco’s W C Antiques described the first day as “killer busy.” The second day was a bit easier (Super Bowl XLVI might have had something to do with that). Read More +
