Celebrities abound during Pop Culture Con Nov. 25-26

ST. CHARLES, Ill. — The Pheasant Run Resort will host Zurko’s Midwest Promotions, highly popular Chicago Pop Culture Con (Show & Sale) Nov. 25-26.

 A recently added guest will be the Legendary Star Wars Actor Jerome Blake, Mr. Blake acted in Star Wars Episodes I, II, III.  He played Mas Amedda in Star Wars: Episode I The Phantom Menace and Revenge of the Sith. Additional roles include Oppo Rancisis in Episode I and II, and Rune Haako, Mik Regrap, Horox Ryyder, Graxol Kelvynn, and Orn Free Taa in Episode I. In addition, he appeared in many films including “The Fifth Element.” And most notably “The Hitchhiker’s Guide to Galaxy.”

The weekend will be packed with displays, memorabilia, and special guests. Pop Culture Con is a multi-genre convention of comics, toys, gaming, sci-fi, LEGOs, TV/movie memorabilia, superheroes, Steampunk, action figures, animé, Cosplay, fantasy, horror, sports memorabilia, vintage music, publishers and artists – anything fan-related.

Among the other celebrities attendees may expect to see at Pop Culture Con :

• ATHLETES, including: Kurt Becker, former Chicago Bears player, Blackhawk goalie Murray Bannerman; Paul Popovich, former baseball player for the Chicago Cubs & other national teams; and Bobby Douglass, former NFL quarterback for the Chicago Bears & other teams, all sponsored by csac.biz.

General admission is $10 for 1 day or $15 for 2 days. Children under 12 are free with adult.

Hours are Saturday 9-6 and Sunday 9-3. Pheasant Run Mega Center is located at 4051 E. Main St. in St. Charles, IL. Parking is free.
