NASHVILLE – The 19th Annual Elegant and Depression Glass Show and Sale on July 21-22, 2018, will provide glassware collectors and decorators with the opportunity to buy American-made glassware and pottery from nationally known dealers.
Glass Collectors to Gather in Music City
The show and sale will be held in the Exhibitor Building at The Fairgrounds Nashville in Nashville, Tennessee. The Fostoria Glass Society of Tennessee is the show host. The Society is a chapter of the Fostoria Glass Society of America.
Parking is free if a show card or show advertisement is presented at the entrance gate. Admission is $6 per person and is good for both days. Show hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. Proceeds from this show support the Fostoria Glass Society of America.
Dealers from 14 states will offer for sale a wide variety of glassware and pottery. Although the show focuses on elegant and depression glassware from American manufacturers, dealers will also have early American pattern glass (EAPG), American-made pottery, kitchen items, and other vintage glassware.
Seminars and Exhibitions Certain to Attract
In addition to seeing a wide selection of glassware, attendees can participate in a seminar on early
American pattern glass led by two dealers specializing in EAPG, view the “Celebrating with Glass” display demonstrating used for holiday decorating and special occasions, and talk with glass repairer Richard Heldenbrand who will make minor repairs to glassware and offer for sale jewelry, ring holders and other items made from damaged glass.
