Fusco Eclectic Collector Auction offers widely varied selections June 26

barbie no. 1WILLOUGHBY, Ohio – On June 26, 2009, at 5:30 p.m. EST, Fusco Auctions will host its Eclectic Collector Auction #3 at 38016 Euclid Ave., Willoughby, Ohio, and online at Artfact Live! (www.artfact.com).

Fusco will offer 334 lots of collectibles, decorative art and jewelry. Lots include carnival glass in Imperial, Northwood and Dugan patterns, among others.

Other glass offered includes Lalique and Steuben, a large collection of Tiffin Glass Cameo Etching pieces.

Jewelry offerings include gold and platinum rings, brooches and necklaces, as well as a large variety of gemstone pieces, and a selection of working and non-working 14k ladies watches and more.

Political memorabilia including buttons, autographed photos, and an assortment of interesting presidential memorabilia is offered.

The expected top lot is the “original Barbie doll.” According to Warman’s Barbie Doll Field Guide, the 1959 Ponytail Barbie doll, the first Barbie doll produced, has sold for as much as $25,000 in mint condition. The Barbie doll offered in the Fusco auction has a minimum bid set at $1,000 and is estimated to bring between $5,000 and $10,000.

A buyer’s premium of 15 percent and an Artfact Live bidding fee of 3 percent will be added to all winning bids.
