NORTHLAKE, Ill. – One of the Midwest’s most important Depression Glass events is sponsored by one of the nation’s most active collector’s clubs. The annual show and sale will be held March 13-14, 2010, at the Concord Place (Midwest Conference Center), 401 West Lake Street, Northlake, Ill. Saturday 10 a.m.-5 p.m. and Sunday 11 a.m.-5 p.m. Admission $8 per person.
The event is designed for socializing and learning about and supporting the preservation of American glassware. Among the special features include 30 nationally-known dealers offering an amazing array of glass and pottery. Crystal repair service will be available so that customers may drop off their treasures that need “help” and continue to shop.
A large free reference library of glass and pottery books is available at the event, plus free glass identification by knowledgeable members has been – and continues to be – a tremendous favorite of visitors.
For more information, contact the 20-30-40 Glass Society of Illinois at 20-30-40GlassSociety@Comcast.net or www.20-30-40society.org. New members are invited to join the club at its Feb. 20 luncheon meeting held at the American Legion Hall in LaGrange, Ill.
