South Fla. Holiday Antiques Show returns Dec. 28-29

DANIA BEACH, Fla. — Dolphin Promotions announces the return of the South Florida Holiday Antiques Show & Sale, which will be held Dec. 28-29 at a new venue: The Gallery of Amazing Things in Dania Beach, Fla.

The Holiday Antiques Show features 50 high-quality dealers from across the U.S. presenting an array of antique furniture, silver porcelain, crystal, antique and estate jewelry, bronzes, pottery, paintings, prints and vintage clothing and accessories. The wide range of Holiday-Show-copymerchandise available will appeal to both serious and casual collectors and home decorators.

The long-running show, which has always been popular with both dealers and collectors, has been held at War Memorial Auditorium in Fort Lauderdale for more than 25 years. For the past two years, show organizers have been seeking a new venue that would provide a more glamorous stage for the event. The new location — formerly the Graves Museum of Natural History — has been renovated and will provide a dramatic backdrop for the sale.

The Gallery of Amazing Things is located at 481 S. Federal Highway in Dania Beach, between Sheridan and Sterling Roads, just north of Hollywood High School. Show hours are Saturday, 10 a.m.-6 p.m. and Sunday noon-5 p.m. The admission of $6 is good for both days; there is ample free parking available.

The Palm Beach event will also feature 50 carefully selected exhibitors presenting a diverse array of objects from ancient times to the 20th century. Show hours are Friday and Saturday from 11 a.m.-7 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m.-5 p.m.
