Vintage Elektoy toy train set may roll to $2K

SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Turner Auctions + Appraisals will bring to auction The Craig Miller Collection of Trains & Toys November 12. As a result, bidders will be able to bid on an uncommon Elektoy train set.

Miller’s been collecting for more than five decades. As a result, the collection includes seldom-seen and unusual items from U.S. and international makers, both antique and modern. Furthermore, many items are in excellent to like-new condition. Consequently, the online auction features more than 175 lots with examples from noted toy train makers including Offering over 175 lots, the online sale features makers such as Lionel, American Flyer, Dorfan, Ives, C&F, Elektoy, Converse, K Marklin. Also, train accessories, toys and numerous reference books round out the sale.

Elektoy Train Part of Lifetime Collection

Consignor Craig Miller spent his childhood in New York, where he, like many young boys, enjoyed toy trains. He and his wife settled in Washington, D.C. where he worked for the Department of Transportation, in highway safety, for 27 years. He retired in 1994. In conclusion, he’s been a member of the Train Collectors Association since 1971.
