Cranberry festival features 300 flea, antiques booths

WARRENS, Wis. – The 40th annual Warrens Cranberry Festival, boasted as the world’s largest cranberry festival, will be held Sept. 28-30, 2012.

This year, in addition to more than 800 arts and crafts booths and 100 farm market booths, the Festival will host more than 300 flea market and antiques booths, as well as 100 food vendors along a three-mile stretch in northeast Monroe County, Wis.

Hosted in a town of just 400, the population swells with visitors numbering more than 100,000 each year. The purpose of the Festival is to raise funds for community organizations, including schools, fire departments, Lions Clubs and youth groups.
