Cased Tiffany sword may top out at $60k at firearm and Militaria sale

A unique grouping of vintage firearms will be sold with a number of important military antiques, Oct. 25-26, 2012 in Cincinnati. Highlighted in the sale will be a cased Tiffany sword presented to Lt. Yooper finds two Stormy Kromers in one week

I received my first Stormy Kromer cap for Christmas this year and found another a week later in a 1923 hunting and fishing painting by William Harnden Foster. His oil on canvas “From Traps to Trout” depicts a woodsman spying a leaping trout as he sets a fresh trap. It sold Jan. 1-2, 2012 for $3,700 by Bobby Langston Antiques, Inc. against a $2,000 to $3,000 pre-auction estimate. Read More +
