ROCHESTER, Minn. — The Gold Rush tradition now in its 45th year continues Aug. 18-20 as exhibitors and collectors converge on Rochester, Minnesota for the Minnesota Gold Rush event. The Olmsted County Fairgrounds in Rochester, Minnesota is the location of the show and is located on Hwy 63 South and 16th Street SE intersection.
Gold Rush Draws Dealers from 22 States to Minnesota
During the three-day event, the fairgrounds will be bustling with dealers and customers from 22 states. The selection will include items for every taste and price range, such as vintage collectibles, vintage costume jewelry, fine jewelry, art glass, pottery, porcelain, bronzes, paintings, doorstops, bookends, perfume bottles, hatpins, compacts, depression era glass, postcards, comics, signs, gas and oil, hunting and fishing, toys, dolls, tools, stoneware, graniteware, American Indian, farm collectibles, furniture, Scandinavian furniture, primitives, folk art, retro, mid-century modern, repurposed items, rusty junk, and kitchen items.
What makes Gold Rush so special is the consistent quality and unique antiques and vintage items presented by the dealers. This premiere show is an indoor/outdoor vintage, antique and flea market with dealers in nine buildings as well as dealers outside with plenty of customer parking in the 52 acres of fairgrounds.
Free Admission and Fun
Food vendors and picnic table seating are plentiful. Gold Rush buildings and outside vendors are open from 8 a.m.-6 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. on Sunday. Friday is dealer set up and the public is welcome to come and shop while dealers set up. The event is free to the public with unlimited parking at $5.The RV Campground on the fairgrounds has some RV spots available to rent by calling 507-269-1473.
