WILMINGTON, Del. – The Friends of Rockwood, a support group for Rockwood Museum in Wilmington, Del., will hold its second annual Victorian Costume Ball Feb. 25, 2012, in the Carriage House on the museum grounds.

Last year’s sold out event was attended by people from all over the Delaware Valley region. Costumed ladies and gentlemen sporting attire from the Civil War era through the Edwardian era danced the night away to authentic period music provided by String Theory with dance calling and instruction by Tapestry Historic Dance Ensemble. Light refreshment and a cash wine bar along with a silent auction added to the fun of the event. The evening was thoroughly enjoyed by all.

For additional information on the Feb. 25, 2012, costume ball, call 302-762-2075 or visit Friends of Rockwood to view a short video of last year’s festivities or to enroll to join the fun this year.
