Los Angeles Art Show

Now in its 13th year, the Los Angeles Art Show, presented by the Fine Art Dealers Association (FADA), returns to the Barker Hangar at the Santa Monica Airport, from Thursday, Jan. 24-Sunday, Jan. 27, 2008.

Records were set at the 2007 show with more than $15 million worth of art sold and 20,000 people attending the event. The Opening Night Gala also set records with more than 4,000 people in attendance. The 2008 weekend-long event allows art lovers and collectors to view and purchase “Five Centuries of Fine Art” from destinations around the globe; with more than 80 renowned galleries showcasing an array of fine art from the 16th century to the present.

The Opening Night Gala, held Wednesday evening, Jan. 23, 2008, is an event anticipated and attended by international art connoisseurs, prominent art figures and celebrities. The evening will feature renowned musicians and be catered by some of Los Angeles’ most acclaimed restaurants. All proceeds of the Opening Night Gala will benefit the Art Museum Council of the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA).
