CHAMBLEE, Ga. – Chamblee’s Antique Row will host its annual Christmas Open House on Dec. 1-2 with free refreshments and special sale prices. Chamblee’s antique district is the largest in Georgia, with more than 250 dealers and more the 400,000 square feet of antiques and collectibles.
“Providing shoppers with holiday treats as a token of customer appreciation has been a tradition of Antique Row for over 30 years,” said Syl Turner, president of the Chamblee Antique Dealers Association. The group offers American and European furniture, black Americana, advertising, Art Deco objects, art pottery, rare and used books, vintage radios and phonographs, china and glassware and much more. In addition to antiques, local artisans will display original works including paintings, pottery and handmade jewelry.
This year the Chamblee merchants will be giving away $250 gift certificates to a few lucky shoppers. The more stores visited, the greater the chance of winning. Entry forms are available at each store. The drawing will be held on Dec. 10 and winners need not be present.
