Starting April 1, 2011 we’re giving contestants a chance to win a prize package sponsored by the Griswold & Cast Iron Cookware Association!

Enter the Antique Trader Treasure Hunt Sweepstakes by midnight April 30 for a chance to win a prize sponsored by the Griswold & Cast Iron Cookware Association in honor of its national convention May 5-8 in Erie, Pa. The convention’s theme is the Brig Niagara, an old restored ship was used
in the Battle of Lake Erie by Commodore Oliver Hazard Perry.

The prize package (show above) includes an annual membership to the G&CICA and exclusive club items, including a tote bag, past issues of “The Pan Handler” newsletter, six commemorative patches and badges, two cast iron belt buckles, a vanity auto plate and more!

These conventions are a lot of fun and are a great way to connect with other knowledgeable collectors. Each year a quilt is hand stitched as an heirloom to be won by some lucky member at the annual convention. This year’s quilt is titled “SUMMER WIND” and is 75 inches wide by 90 inches long.
