The Write Stuff. See, learn about, buy and trade the world’s hottest collectibles at The 14th Annual Ohio Pen Show. Over 100 exhibitors from around the United States, Europe and Pacific Rim come to Cary, N.C. to show, sell, buy and trade zillions of vintage and new pens.

Nostalgia.  Find ornate 1880s Victoriana, 1915 Art Nouveau pens with gold or silver flowers, spider webs, snakes; mother-of-pearl; gems, 1920s bold, colorful Art Deco styles, 1930s Art Moderne streamliners, World War II models, Nifty ‘50s, 1960s pop art, and desk sets.

Trends. Find an overwhelming variety of new models from dozens of manufacturers big and small.

Instant Riches. Free evaluation and quick “history” lesson on items brought to the show. Folks might find Grandpa’s keepsake pen brings the money for a new car.

Hands-on. Try dozens of pens with fine to extra-bold or italic points and over 100 ink colors.
Check out writing accessories, ephemera, gifts, pen books, inkwells, watches and lots of really cool stuff.

On-site repairmen regrind nibs, repair or replace non-working parts and make old pens “good as new.”

$675 Floating Fans by Sailor Pen. (Japan) uses the Asian art of maki-e. The artist builds the floating fan design by suspending ground-up gold, bronze, copper and powdered pigments. 18-kt. nib.
