Atlantique City adds early buying in October

ATLANTIC CITY, N.J. – Collectors will have the opportunity to shop Atlantique City, the World’s Largest Indoor Antiques and Collectibles Show, a day earlier than usual during the Oct. 14-15 fair. A newly introduced $99 VIP ticket package, which only recently went on sale, entitles purchasers to four hours of early shopping from 2-6 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 13, admission to a special cocktail party at the Sheraton Atlantic City Convention Center Hotel and a canvas tote bag filled with surprises. The ticket also allows admission to the show on Saturday and Sunday.

“The Atlantique City VIP ticket package is designed to offer special privileges to serious shoppers and to welcome dedicated collectors to the most unique antiques and collectibles show in the world,” said the event’s producer, Eric Bradley. “We’re proud to offer collectors something they’ve told us they want – a ticket that allows first pick of merchandise from the nation’s finest antiques dealers.”

This year Atlantique City celebrates two decades as the country’s premier market for vintage treasures. The celebration kicks off at the VIP cocktail party, which starts immediately after early shopping concludes, at 6 p.m.
Hosted by Antique Trader magazine, Atlantique City features antiques and collectibles from around the world, free appraisals and free furniture delivery within a 200-mile radius of the show. From pottery to porcelain, vintage posters to Venetian glass, animation art to Americana, folk art to formal furniture, shoppers can buy from hundreds of reputable dealers who bring their finest merchandise to the internationally acclaimed event.
