Grayslake Market returns June 12-13

GRAYSLAKE, Ill. – Zurko’s massive antique and collectible market will have a special feature in addition to thousands of table top exhibits June 12-13, 2010.

Vintage and collectible comics and toys will highlight the market. Also, an exciting array of movie actors and nationally acclaimed comic artists will be in attendance at the show.
Among the actors scheduled to appear:

Greeting show goers and signing photos will be N.F.L. pro Fred “The Hammer” Williamson, whose acting credits include The Boss in 2004’s “Starsky & Hutch,” “The Black Caesar” and original gangster in “Hell Up in Harlem.”

Also, Robert Zdar of “Maniac Cop,” “Tango & Cash,” “Mobsters” and “Beast Master 2.” Plus actor Joey Kovar from MTV’s “The Real World” and Mike Holman from MTV’s “Jackass.”

Adding to the star list is Antonio Mirele, who appeared in Clint Eastwood’s, “Gran Torino.” Additionally, the cast and director of the upcoming movie “Mountain Mafia” directed by Cherokee Hall will be in attendance.

Scream Queens Heather “Scream” Price and Michelle Shields, and actor James Vallo from “Spaced Out” will also be on hand.

A variety of comic book artists will be in attendance including “Undercoat” artist Bill Reinholdt, comic colorist Linda Reinholdt and underground cartoonist Jim Mitchell.

Collectors of all ages will truly enjoy the massive amount of antiques, collectibles, comic books and toys from more than 1,000 tables of fun things to buy and see in the comfort of the air conditioned Grand Exhibition. The thousands of unusual items outside make this show a treasure hunter’s paradise. The Lake County Fairground is located at 1060 E. Peterson Rd. in Grayslake, Ill.

Show hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. June 12 and 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. June 13. General admission is $6, children ages 16 and under are free. ?
