NASHVILLE – The 27th annual Heart of Country Antiques Show takes place at the Gaylord Opryland Resort Hotel on Feb. 14-16.
Highlights of this year’s show include more than 120 prestigious antique dealers of Americana, folk art and decorative arts.
Heart of Country is known for its quality offerings, as well as its series of parties and lectures, giving buyers a chance to get up close and personal with the fine antiques and the dealers presenting them.
The show this year will also feature a premiere Gallery Booth exhibit of top dealers’ private collections on view for the first time anywhere.
Lectures include “Patriotic and Political Quilts” and an “American Christmas.”
The special Gallery Exhibit features the private collections of 12 top dealers who have selected some favorite items from their home to place on public view for the first time. Featured dealers are Judy Wilson and Robert Snyder (Maine), Michael Newsom and Betty Berdan (Pennsylvania), George Allen and Gordon Wyckoff of Raccoon Creek (Pennsylvania), Linda Fodor (Florida), Russ and Karen Goldberger/RJG Antiques (New Hampshire), Kim and Mary Kokles (Texas), Dan Morphy (Pennsylvania), Tom Jewett and Charles Berdan (Maine), Pat and Rich Garthoeffner (Pennsylvania), Bev and Tom Longacre (New Hampshire), and Woody and Nancy Straub (Florida). Jeff Bridgman’s (Pennsylvania) phenomenal collection of flags will adorn the center aisle.
Hours are Friday, from 10 a.m.-8 p.m., and Saturday from 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Daily admission on Friday and Saturday is $10.
