Indy Antique Festival offering an experience to remember

INDIANAPOLIS – Rich in antiquing history, the Indianapolis Antique Festival offers some of the best antiques and vintage items. The newly remodeled Agriculture/Horticulture building at the Indiana State Fairgrounds will soon be filled with fine quality antiques. In addition durable and functional vintage household pieces will be available during the Sept. 10-11 Indianapolis Antique Festival. The event is produced by Wade and Dorrie Hallett and family.

Dealers will bring investment quality antiques, as well as collectibles and functionalIndianapolis Antique Festival household pieces. On offer is Dresden, Meissen, Tiffany, porcelain, estate and fine jewelry. Along with Nippon, knives, Orientalia, art glass, art pottery, bronzes, paintings, furniture, silver, china, country store, quilts, clocks, cameo glass, and lamps. In addition, photographs, Civil War, coins, dolls, toys, signs, sports, advertising, majolica, Old West memorabilia, tools, musical instruments, and textiles will be offered. Many of the dealers are members of the Associated Antiques Dealers of America organization.

The Indiana State Fairgrounds, which is located on Indianapolis’ central north side, is the site of the Festival. The show is held inside a climate-controlled building with plenty of parking ($5).

Weekend admission is $8 ($1 off discount coupons are available in advertisements). Concessions are available for purchase at the in-house restaurant.
