Surprises planned for Nashville Antiques Week

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Jenkins Management has announced their two shows at Tennessee State Fairgrounds, Antiques At Music Valley and Tailgate Antique Show in conjunction with the Antiques And Garden Show at Nashville Convention Center, will have approximately 400 exhibitors at Antiques Week in Nashville, Feb. 10-13, 2010.

This combination of the three shows, each with about 130 exhibitors, offers customers “more diversity in antiques with country, garden, continental, Americana and décor inventories to choose for their personal collections,” according to Jenkins spokesperson, Jon Jenkins.

“With the three shows working together in marketing and publicizing these events comprising Nashville Antiques Week, we offer a comprehensive and wide ranging group of shows that are attracting national attention among the customers,” he added.

Antiques Week In Nashville consists of three events.  Jenkins Management produces two at Tennessee State Fairgrounds, Antiques At Music Valley and The Tailgate Antiques Show both opening Feb. 11. The Tailgate Antiques Show will open for early buyers at 10 a.m. with general admission at 1 p.m.

Antiques At Music Valley will open at 6 p.m. for their preview party, which includes an array of hors d’oeuvres along and a cash bar for patrons. The Antiques And Garden Show opens Wednesday evening at the Nashville Convention Center with a gala preview party and general admission Thursday at 10 a.m. All are open Friday and close Saturday evening. Special events at Music Valley Antiques Show will include a book signing by the author of At Home in Tennessee, Donna Dorian and also the premier of Jill Peterson’s new magazine, A Simple Life. The book signing sponsored by Mad Anthony Books will start Friday at noon. Peterson’s magazine with be offered for the first time during Music Valley Antiques Show where she is also an exhibiting antiques dealer.
