Antique Helper to offer coins, discovery auction, May 3 and 4

INDIANAPOLIS —  Dan Ripley’s Antique Helper announces a weekend packed with diverse auction experiences.  On Sat., May 3, Antique Helper will present over 200 lots of coins and currency, in a cataloged sale starting at 10:30 a.m.  Coin collectors will take note of a complete 15-piece set of
$2 ½ gold Indians marked with 1911D.  Rare currency offerings include a $1,000 bill.  Also offered will be 200 proof sets 56-07, eleven 1999 silver proof sets and Morgan and Liberty silver dollars.

Starting at 10 a.m. and running simultaneously will be a multi-ring outdoor tent auction, taking place in the parking lot behind Antique Helper’s main building.  This auction includes a Brown County estate, a local Doctor’s estate, plus two additional Indianapolis estates and various consignments. Among the highlights will be a collection of militaria, vintage toys and fine porcelain.  This type of old-fashioned auction guarantees a memorable day spent in a festive atmosphere.  Buyers often find hidden treasures and unexpected bargains hidden among the typical auction fare.
