Fairgrounds.

Billed as “Indiana’s largest antiques and vintage market,” the event presents an ever-changing lineup of between 200 and 250 dealers on the first Sunday of each month through October. More than 20,000 people visited the market during the 2014 season.

Over the years, this old-fashioned, low-overhead seasonal show has achieved legendary status as the “go-to” source for “fresh to the market” antique and vintage goods. Every month, the market’s vendors present items gleaned from regional auctions, sales and estate liquidations: furnishings, decorative arts, jewelry, architectural and industrial salvage, historical Americana, and pop culture memorabilia.

As decorating and collecting tastes change, dealers adapt to offer the trendiest in vintage styles alongside traditional examples. The Lawrenceburg Fairgrounds is located on U.S. 50 in southeast Indiana. The five-acre park offers modern amenities including paved walks, contemporary restrooms, large covered pavilions and local food vendors at all four corners of the midway.

Market hours are 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Eastern Time. “Early bird” shoppers are admitted during vendor set up at 6 a.m. Admission is $3 (age 17 and older), and the event is held rain or shine.
