French Majolica, a Magnificent pair of Orchid with stem base signed Delphin Massier will be unveiled at the 2013 Antiques & Garden Fair, ‘’Cypripedium calceolus’’ signed Delphin Massier, Size 14 ¼ x 11 ½ inches (circa 1880). The specific epithet calceolus is the Latin meaning ‘’little shoe’’ in reference to the slipper-like shape of the labellum. Measurement 14 ¼ x 11 ½ inches (circa 1880).
