The Casino Chip & Gaming Token Collectors Club, Inc. (CC&GTCC) wrapped their 19th annual convention June 25, 2011, at the Southpoint Spa Hotel & Casino. The club reported an amazing almost 900 walk-in visitors despite the economy.

Collectors find horde of vintage casino chips buried in Carson City, Nev., parking lot

Dozens and dozens of $5, $25 and $100 vintage casino chips were found this week poking out of the sand and spilling onto the parking lot of the former Travelodge Casino in Carson City, Nev. Construction workers broke through a concrete floor which proved true a long-time rumor about buried casino chips.
