Julia’s Spring 2012 firearms auction sets $18 million house record
At nearly $18 million, James D. Julia’s Spring Firearms and Knife Auction March 12-13, 2012 in Fairfield, Maine, set a new house record for vintage guns and firearms. Also of note was another firearms auction, held by Julia’s sister and brother-in-law, the Poulin Auction Company, which grossed more than $2 million the three days preceding the Julia sale.
